Hi, My name is Aryan. I graduated in Computer Engineering-Hardware for my BSc from Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. I’m currently the student of MSc. Computer Science at Ontario Tech University, Ontario, Canada, under the supervision of Professor Amirali Salehi-Abari. I am also a research assistant in the Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Networks Lab (SAIN Lab). Before starting my graduate studies, I was working as an Android developer in some companies and startups.

My research interests are distributed machine learning, deep learning on mobile devices, and transfer learning. With the recent improvements in the computation power of mobile devices and embedded systems, machine learning models could be trained on these devices. This new type of learning leads to cheaper costs in model training and also higher model availability.
