About

I joined Ontario Tech as faculty in 2006 (Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, 2006; MSc. in Computer Science, University of Toronto, 2001; BSc. in Computer Science and Mathematics, Dalhousie University, 1999). My research is in the area of distributed systems. I study and develop algorithms and protocols for peer-to-peer networks. I work on problems that are on the application layer, from the end user perspective. I also work on methods and applications for the mobile device, improving the user experience.
